How we collaborate
with ethics and transparency
Community trust comes first. This page explains the principles, limits, and standards we apply to every collaboration.
Full creative control
We do not accept collaborations that require us to alter, soften, or hide our opinion. Our content is produced independently, and brands do not take part in scripting or editing.
Before publication, a brand may review the content only to flag technical mistakes, naming issues, or details taken out of context, but that review does not give them control over our opinion or editorial direction.
Our opinion and editorial approach are not negotiable, whether or not a collaboration is paid.
If a product does not convince us, we do not recommend it. We would rather decline a collaboration than promote something we do not trust.
What we guarantee
-
Independent scripting and editing - The brand does not define the final message or editorial angle.
-
Limited factual review - We accept technical or context corrections, not opinion or framing changes.
-
Honest reviews - We highlight strengths and weaknesses as they are.
-
Selective recommendations - We only suggest products that are genuinely useful and relevant.
Clear boundaries for brands and sponsorships
We choose who we work with carefully. If a brand's practices do not align with our ethics, we reserve the right to reject or end the collaboration.
Every collaboration, sponsorship, or loaned product is disclosed clearly, so you always know when a commercial relationship exists.
Some videos may include sponsored segments. Even in those cases, we apply the exact same standards of independence and honesty.
We may work under NDAs or embargoes when appropriate, but we do not accept exclusivity agreements.
What we guarantee
-
Partner selection - We only work with proposals aligned with our values and audience.
-
Visible sponsorship disclosure - Advertising content is labeled clearly and explicitly.
-
NDAs and embargoes allowed - We can respect confidentiality and launch dates when needed.
-
No exclusivity - We do not accept agreements that limit our editorial independence in a category.
Creator collaborations, affiliate links, and sustainability
We also collaborate with other creators in home automation and tech when the result provides real value for the community.
Some links in articles and video descriptions are affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may receive a commission at no extra cost to you.
Affiliate programs never influence our opinions or product selection. The same principles of honesty and independence always apply.
What we guarantee
-
Creator-to-creator work - We focus on useful, aligned content rather than empty cross-promotion.
-
Transparent affiliate use - Affiliate links are disclosed and never override editorial judgement.
-
Active programs - Amazon Associates and AliExpress, governed by the same ethical standards.

A clear workflow to assess proposals without compromising editorial independence.
Initial review
We check whether the proposal fits our content, audience, and editorial principles.
Ethical fit
We review transparency, expectations, and boundaries to avoid conflicts of interest.
Format definition
If there is a fit, we define format and timing while keeping full creative control.
Clear publication
If content is published, the collaboration is disclosed in a clear, understandable way.
